A graduate of the University of Southern California with a Master of Science in Systems Management, Larry received his undergraduate degree from San Jose State University School of Engineering with a major in Industrial Administration and a minor in Materials Engineering. Additionally, Larry has completed graduate coursework at Santa Clara University School of Business and at San Jose State University School of Materials Engineering. He served in the U.S. Air Force and has held numerous security clearances. Larry has a PMP, Project Management Profession, credential issued by the PMI, Program Management Institute.
Larry’s career has included responsible positions with high technology industry companies including National Semiconductor, Amdahl Corporation, Cypress Multichip Assembly, Pantronix, Chip Express, Flextronics Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Flextronics Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, and Teradyne. He has held engineering management, product management, and executive management positions at these Silicon Valley companies. His vast experience working in both the wafer fabrication and fabless portions of the semiconductor business as well as in secure and non-secure production facilities provides Larry with a unique set of skills to support clients’ requirements. Larry has been a member of IEEE for 30 years and is also a member of the IEEE Consultants' Network of Silicon Valley.
His passion for export compliance was rekindled while working at a secure production facility supporting a large defense subcontractor. Larry successfully registered Flextronics Semiconductor for ITAR and EAR product shipments and acted as ITAR/EAR Export Compliance Officer. He has worked closely with the law firm of Thomsen and Burke, LLP (one of the top export compliance law firms in the United States) for more than 17 years to successfully guide companies through the export compliance processes.
Brenda Mehringer graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Journalism (reporting and editing concentration) and has completed extensive graduate coursework in Mass Communications.
Brenda’s worked experience includes serving as public information officer for public organizations including the Santa Clara County Office of Education and Sunnyvale School District. She later provided consulting services to high technology companies requiring communication/public relations materials.
Additionally, Brenda has 15 years experience in the non-profit field with the YMCA of Silicon Valley where she held increasingly responsible management positions in customer service, human resources/payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.
